A computer that classifies itself as a so-called ‘netbook’ should clearly be able to do one thing exceptionally well… that is to get on the internet. The Lenovo s10-2 looks cool, but fails in the ability to bring an enjoyable internet experience to the end-user.
Within 5 feet of a router (tested with multiple routers) you may not receive full signal. When in the next room over you may expect to get a low signal and speeds around 5.5 Mbps.
While on the internet, page loads take forever and streaming videos is nearly impossible. Using an ethernet cable helps speeds things up, but what is the point of that? There are mobile devices that are quicker on the internet than this. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.
Pros: light and compact, looks good, integrated webcam
Cons: no bluetooth, horrible wireless speeds, only 1gb of factory ram installed
